Calling All Musicians and Dance Performers
The IRIE Music Festival is inviting performers to submit requests to participate at IRIE FEST, to be held at Queen's Park and Nathan Philips Square. The 6th annual IRIE Music Festival, also known as IRIE FEST, is one of Canada's most exciting annual celebrations of music and the arts. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto, IRIE FEST continues to grow each year, attracting tens of thousands of visitors over its four days.
The core of the Irie Music Festival continues to be music programming featuring Toronto artists along with guests artist from other parts of Canada and internationally. Although music is the backbone and primary focus of the IRIE Music festival, it is enhanced with other artistic disciplines including dance presentations, an art exhibit and a literary presentation.
Our artistic goals and objectives for the Irie Music Festival include the development of local artists in the areas of music and dance. We are looking for musicians and dance performers with Caribbean, African, World, Latin, jazz, and gospel content. Performance opportunities include music and dance performances at Queen's Park as well as Nathan Phillips Square.
