The 6th annual IRIE Music Festival, also known as IRIE FEST, is one of Canada's most exciting annual celebrations of music and the arts. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto, IRIE FEST 2007 offers programming at three great downtown locations: Nathan Phillips Square, Ontario Place Special Event Tent and Queen's Park.

The annual IRIE Fest Gospel Celebration at Nathan Phillips Square will feature international gospel sensation Rohan "Cowboy" Grant, award-winning Gospel singer Jimmy Lee Howard, Freedom to Worship, and accapella group REECH. Presented in association with the Maja Gospel Awards.

In addition to the great free entertainment at Nathan Phillips Square IRIE FEST will also feature IRIE FEST Dance, IRIE FEST Literature, IRIE FEST Art, International African Inventors Museum Exhibit and a special Jamaican Independence Day Flag-raising ceremony.

Celebrate a new tradition in Toronto with IRIE FEST Tastes of The Tropics at Queen's Park Tastes of the Tropicson Sunday, August 5th and Monday, August 6th. Enjoy tasty cuisine from some of Toronto's best ethnic food restaurants, plus free entertainment and activities for the entire family. Local restauranteurs and food vendors will offer sample size portions of delicious Caribbean, South American, African, Asian, South Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and Southern foods.
